About Us
LWB was launched in the financial crisis of 2008-2010, when it became clear that many of the financial restructurings under negotiation were doomed to failure, typically being of the extend and pretend variety. We set about developing a comprehensive training programme aimed at upskilling relationship and credit bankers into workout professionals.
This was marketed by one of the world’s most trusted financial training brands and was enormously successful, being delivered both on a public basis and in-house over 100 times across Europe, MENA and the Far East. Today, we can proudly say that we have helped develop over 1,000 of the world’s best/most innovative restructuring bankers – mainly through our highly engaging face-to-face training programmes.
The Covid-19 pandemic has created a fresh need to upskill bankers for an expected wave of restructurings. At the same time, the training and consulting business has pivoted towards virtual delivery.In response to these challenges, we have redesigned our training and coaching programmes to be self-paced and online/blended or live virtual enabling us to pursue our mission of becoming:
